“Rays Porch” was released on the fall of 2006.
The scene is from the homeplace of famous mountain storyteller Ray Hicks and was located on the road between Valley Crucis and Banner Elk, North Carolina.
Bob visited Ray Hicks with Roy Ackland and David Weatherly from Channel 8 in High Point, NC.
Bob was so impressed with the homeplace and Ray Hicks that he decided to paint it on more than one occasion.
